Atra Atlas Iran company visited Tirtash Research and Training Center

(IRAN Tobacco Company)

 

At the invitation of IRAN Tobacco Company, managers of Atra Atlas Iran Company visited Tirtash Research and Training Center in Golestan province on 26 Feb 2024 noon.

Tirtash Research and Training Center was established in 1317 by Mr. Atanas Zafiopoulos, an expert and head of the experimental tobacco farm, who was invited from Greece. Tirtash Research and Training Center is one of the most important and large companies of the province, along with Behshahr Industries.

Considering the need of Tirtash company for the exchange and transfer of technology and necessary cooperation with Brazil, this invitation was made.

Dr. Seyed Reza Mirkarmi, Director of Tirtash Research and Education Center, said:
Brazil is one of the most important countries in the agricultural industry and especially for tobacco. According to the mission of Tirtash Center in the direction of research and development and helping farmers, it is hoped that with the help of Atra Atlas Company, we will be able to start a broad cooperation for the transfer of technology with Brazil.


On the sidelines of this trip, Mr Hamed Ghaderi , while congratulating the knowledge-based progress of Tirtas company, visited the existing capacities and said:
During the past two years, we had a lot of cooperation with the Iranian tobacco group to meet the needs of the tobacco group. After this visit, we realized that there are countless capacities that we can turn into beneficial projects with bilateral cooperation. Necessary correspondence and coordination for technology transfer and information exchange have been done with several similar Brazilian companies, and in the coming year we will definitely have good news for farmers and activists in this field.


Following this visit, the honorable ambassador of Brazil was invited to visit the IRAN Tobacco Company.
